Dutch-born designer Stefanie Nieuwenhuyse develops fresh solutions to today's throwaway culture by incorporating sustainability into her work, while maintaining luxury standards at the same time. The London-based designer graduated with an MA in Fashion from Kingston University where she honed her skills as a fashion crafter.

 

Forming a union between contemporary and handcraft, Nieuwenhuyse's unique style is textile-led with delicate handcraft elements dictating design. Her ability to explore both hand and soft materials for body adornment is evident through her work. Her progressive designs and material choices have made her one to watch.
